About
This unit involves the skills and knowledge required by supervisors to guide clients from diverse backgrounds how to develop and maintain safe car driving strategies.
These strategies include recognising and dealing with behavioural barriers to learning, developing vehicle control skills, interpreting and applying regulatory requirements and road laws, developing critical higher order skills such as hazard perception and responding appropriately, exercising risk management strategies that contribute to safe car driving techniques, and meeting community expectations.
Cost
$330.00 (GST included) including lunch. (Please advise us if you have any specific dietary requirements prior to attending the course).
NB: there is no GST on recognised training.

One hour on-road assessment.
Recognition
A nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (TLIM4001A – Develop Safe Car Driving Behaviour In Others) will be presented to applicants when all theory and practical activities are completed successfully.
NB: If competency is not demonstrated, additional on road and classroom training hours are charged at $55 per hour if required.
